Good Ol' Time Share Companies

I got a phone call the other day from Jeff. "Hey I just won a trip for 2 to Las Vegas! you need to claim it because I have to be 25yrs or older."
"Ok!?, but how did you pull this off?"
"We have to go to a presentation for 90 minutes so call this number and set a date to go"
"Jeff, we were making fun of the guy trying to sell us timeshares in the mall yesterday why are we going right now?"
"We got a vacation from it not some stupid gift card this will be fine we just won't buy anything."
Here's the story.
I call the lady that called Jeff. She asked me if I was over 25 I said yes. Then she asked am I a Home Owner? NO! do I make over $50,000 a year? I said yes she said do you have a major credit card? Yes! So I get approved to claim this prize and I have to go to the presentation. I set the appointment for thursday night and Jeff and I get ready to go. I collected all the appropriate "Documents" and head out to the appointment. Dustin our friend came with us to help us not get suckered in as he did 2 years ago and we were ready to claim out "No Obligation! Prize" and leave. We arrive at the Wyndham Worldmark building and sign in. I fill out this stupid paper that asks my name, address, phone number, do I own or rent a house, check a box for my annual income, and age. After filling out the form we sat down and the lady left she asked me Why I don't own or rent my home I told her I lived in a cardboard box. She was very concerned and inquired what I did about my living conditions, I told her that I lived with my parents but I could put down that I rent from them. She left us at the front desk and came back telling me that I didn't qualify for the prize or the oportunity to see the "Presentation" I asked why and she told me I didn't earn enough annually and wasn't a home owner. I told her why I even came and that I qualified with the girl from Utah and she made us leave. We got up and left then I called the chick in Utah and she assured me I qualified for the Prize. I am now getting a free gift from the corporate office for being rejected at the door and not being allowed to see the all mighty Presentation. I told them that I was going to buy into the company but now I think i'm going with Timeshares only that advertises on TV so they lost out!! Poor Bastards!
